Supporting Our Parish

The PastorFrom the Pastor's Desk
Welcome to St. Stephen of Hungary's Web site. Thank you for your interest in our parish.

As you peruse our Web site's many pages and links, you will find that we are a community energized by the Franciscan spiritual tradition and committed to living out the Gospel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in our places of work and relaxation. You also will find that we are very much a part of what is happening around us. We offer education to our children, outreach services to our elderly, sick and homeless, and vibrant liturgies in which we praise and give thanks to God.

No one is a stranger to our community. We welcome people of every race, language or way of life. We ask only that you be willing to share your gifts with us. We promise in turn to share ours with you.

Please visit our web site often.

Cordially,

Fr. Angelo Gambatese, OFM
Pastor
